• About Richard Wolper

Richard Wolper is an entrepreneur and business owner with a lot of experience landscaping, running restaurants, and building both horizontally and vertically for clients and his real estate projects. He is probably best known as the CEO and co-founder of the Mark 25 Companies. He also owns Black Rock Concrete LLC. and Black Rock Trees LLC, a large tree farm in the panhandle of Idaho that specializes in trees over 20 feet tall. He has worked with big companies like Home Depot, Burton Lumber, and Walmart on projects worth hundreds of millions of dollars. At the same time, he has given a lot of money to a wide range of good causes.

Wolper was born in Warwick, Rhode Island, on June 15, 1966, to a German-American family. As a teenager, Wolper moved to Utah, where he became interested in building. Soon after he graduated from Alta High School, he started getting licenses as a contractor. He now has the General Engineering E100, Landscape and Recreation S330, and General Building B100 licenses. Early in his career, Rich worked on several large, profitable projects, such as the $22 million Rocky Mountain Raceway, the $8 million Fox Point project in Draper, Utah, and the $3 million Riverton City project.

Richard went to Park City because he was a strong worker and liked to start his own business. The Sundance Film Festival takes place in this popular place for tourists to visit. It is home to Park City Mountain Resort, Deer Valley Resort, the Park City Museum, and the Alf Engen Ski Museum, all well-known nationwide. In Park City, Wolper's early successful projects included large residential landscaping jobs for high net worth clients, such as many celebrities and well-known business leaders, and a $88 million Iroquois residential development site project that included digging and setting up a sewer, water, and storm drain system. Rich Wolper's hard work and important contributions to the well-being of the Park City area earned him many awards, including the award for the best landscaping business in the Park City area for the year.

Mark 25 Development and Group of Companies, SLC, was started by Richard Wolper in 2011. It was made to bring together his twelve businesses; most of its projects are in the Park City, Utah, area. Since it started, Wolper has built three multifamily units that have done very well. Black Rock Ridge has 420 units worth an estimated $250 million. For the last few years, it has been one of the best-selling communities in the area. It is strategically placed next to beautiful private hiking trails and has an unbeatable view of the Wasatch Mountain Range and Deer Valley. At the same time, it is only a short drive from Park City Main Street and its many amenities. Black Rock Luxury Condos has all the amenities you'd expect from a top-tier hotel, like a fine-dining restaurant, a pool with views of the nearby mountains, and a state-of-the-art gym. Even though it has a lot of selling points, Black Rock Luxury Condos is the best choice for people who want luxury at a good price in a good location.

Residences at Blackstone, which had ski condos with two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms in the Canyons Resort, were also sold out. The development is in the middle of Canyons Village and close to the Canyons golf course and the Cabriolet Ski Gondola. It has great views of the Park City Mountain Resort and is perfect for people who like to be outside all year. Mark 25's most recent project is Black Rock Mountain Resort, a $300 million development with more than 200 units and an event centre with an NHL-sized hockey arena. This will allow the development to participate in the upcoming Salt Lake City/Park City Olympic bid for the 2030 or 2034 Winter Olympics. Black Rock Estates ("Wakara"), another soon-to-be-built project, will have 133 single-family home sites and 48 townhome sites with views of the Jordanelle Reservoir, the Uinta mountains, Deer Valley, and Mt. Timpanogas. Wolper also broke new ground by building Fiddlers Canyon Hills in Cedar City. Along Fiddlers Canyon Road, there will be 331 townhomes and other multifamily housing in the foothills.

Rich Wolper likes his job so much that he thinks of it as a hobby. But that isn't the only thing he likes to do. The Utah Outliers were started by Wolper and Paul Taylor, a well-known hockey coach with more than 30 years of experience, in 2016. This elite Tier II junior hockey club does a good job of bringing in talented players worldwide. It not only lets them play but also lets them use their skills to get into good colleges and universities and start pro hockey careers. Wolper is proud to sponsor and run the team because he likes to give back and help people. He also gives to the local Jewish Chabad, the Park City Disability Center, and other charities. When he has time, he also loves to play golf.

From his humble beginnings, Richard Wolper has come a long way. Even though he was born in the "Ocean State," he feels right at home in the mountains of Utah now. Over the years, Wolper's many businesses have grown thanks to his hard work and ability to pick the right projects. This has put him at the top of his field and given Park City residents and visitors housing options that can't be beaten. At the same time, Wolper is humble about his many successes and gives his time and money to people in need. Everyone he works with, whether junior hockey players, employees, contractors, business partners, or people who buy the homes and condos he has planned and built, will be better off because of him.
